As the first systematic standard on urban green space planning in China, it constructs, for the first time, three major systems of urban green space planning, including systemic planning, classified planning, and specialized planning, respectively applicable to master planning, detailed planning, and special planning. It solves the problems of urban green space in planning technical basis and standardization at multiple levels and in various aspects and effectively strengthens the guidance and support at the planning level for urban and rural green space layout and landscape planning and construction. As an advanced standard in China, it fills the gaps in the planning and design industry and won the Third Prize of the 2020 China Award for Science and Technology in Construction and the First Prize of the 2019 Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture.
