Xiongan New Area of Hebei Province: three counties of Xiong, Rongcheng and Anxin of Hebei Province and the surrounding areas.

II. Fruitful Results

The BIM management platform for the planning and construction of Xiongan New Area undertaken by CAUPD took the lead in China to propose the construction concept and method covering the six stages of the life-cycle of cities including "planning, construction, management, maintenance, use and maintenance" and that run through the digital city and the real world and mirror growth. We constructed a complete set of data standard system represented by XDB all by ourselves, and realized complete localization from the core engine to the upper-layer application and technological self-sufficiency and controllability. In the BIM/CIM field at home, we achieved a breakthrough in the application of the whole chain, taking the lead to set an example. The stable and reliable operation of each system of the platform will continue assist Xiongan digital twin city in further improvement and upgrading.

III. Main Content

In the construction of Xiongan BIM management platform, CAUPD carried out the following work. First, established the institutional system of software and hardware environment and operation of the supporting platform; second, built a data baseboard covering the current geology, various planning, special and urban design, architectural and municipal design and operation data; and third, formulated three sets of data management standards, namely identity standard, language standard, and calculation standard. Building on this, we also constructed the digital space of the twin city, realizing such functions as displaying, query, interaction, assisted management and decision-making, and the hope is to realize digital asset transactions in the future.

To promote the construction of Xiongan BIM platform, CAUPD formulated the index systems of planning, architecture, municipal affairs, geology, water conservancy, and garden, as well as a series of supporting index systems including modeling and mounting standards and intelligent infrastructure standards and their derivative standards, which have promoted the innovation of the planning, construction and management system of Xiongan, enabling Xiongan BIM platform to digitally promote the reform of the governance pattern of planning, construction and management.
