From August 2018 to December 2019, the Western Branch, on behalf of China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD), participated in the project “Detailed Construction Planning of Chongqing Ljia Smart Park” commissioned by Chongqing YuXing Technology Development Co. Lijia Smart Park is a showcase of the future smart living in Chongqing. During the project, CAUPD worked with Chongqing Priestman Architectural Design and Consulting to complete the master planning and design of the park with embedding the key elements of “ecology and smart” in the overall spatial design and architectural clusters development. Under the guidance of the planning and design, Chongqing Priestman Architectural Design and Consulting continued to complete the architectural design of the first phase of important exhibitions and displays, such as the 5G Pavilion and the Art and Fun Pavilion. The first phase of the park has been opened to the public since August 2019, and has become a venue to exhibit and experience the smart living in Chongqing.
