KONG Yanhong
Ms. KONG Yanhong previously served as Deputy Chief Engineer of the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD), with the title of Professorate Senior Engineer. She graduated from Harbin University of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 1986.

In addition to her role at CAUPD, Ms. KONG is also a member of the Higher Education Committee on Water Supply and Drainage Discipline and Engineering under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development(MoHURD), the vice chair of Urban Water Environment Committee and a member of Education Committee under the China Urban Water Association(CUWA), and a member of the Conservation and Restoration Committee of the National Technical Commission for Standardization of Natural Resources and Territorial Spatial Planning. She is recognized as a well-known expert in urban water supply and drainage, urban ecological environment, and urban public safety in China.
Throughout her career, Ms. KONG Yanhong has been responsible for various projects, including the 12th Five-Year Plan of Water Supply for the Renovation and Construction of Urban Water Supply Facilities in China, the Tianjin Eco-City Master Plan, Tianjin Eco-City Indicator System, Yuxi Eco-City Master Plan, Miyun Municipal Infrastructure Planning, Harbin Water Supply and Drainage Special Plan, Jinan Water Supply and Drainage Special Plan. KONG Yanhong has published over 20 papers and has contributed to national key research programs, including the Overall Assessment of the Impact of Urban Master Planning on Living Environment under the 11th Five-Year Plan, Study and Demonstration of Key Techniques for Urban Water Environment System Planning and Study on Key Techniques for Urban Low-Impact Drainage (Stormwater) System and Combined Drainage with Flood Prevention in Rivers and Lakes under the 13th Five-Year Plan.
