ZHAO Yixin
Mr. ZHAO Yixin serves as Deputy Chief Engineer at the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design(CAUPD). He is also the Director General of Urban Transportation Branch and a Professorate Senior Engineer. In addition to his roles at the academy, Mr. ZHAO also serves as the Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Engineering and Construction Committee of the China Association of Metros. He is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Xicheng District CPPCC.

With extensive experience in transportation planning and design, Mr. ZHAO has led and participated in more than 100 planning and design projects and over 10 scientific research projects. He has published more than 20 papers in core journals, with more than 10 as the first author. His contributions have been recognized by various awards, including the gold and silver awards of national excellent design and provincial and ministerial-level awards for scientific and technological progress .
Mr. ZHAO boasts extensive practical experience in consultation and design for urban integrated transportation planning, smart transportation, traffic engineering, and rail transit planning. Having demonstrated his strong research capabilities, he has been involved in numerous research projects initiated by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the World Bank. Particularly, he has organized the compilation of multiple reports, such as the Monitoring Report of Road Network Density for Major Cities in China and the Commuting Monitoring Report of Major Cities in China, both of which have been well-received by the public. Mr. Zhao has also edited several national standards and published Chinese Urban Rail Transit Construction and Development Report, among other titles. It has showcased his strong expertise in research and compilation of standards for rail transit.
