DONG Ke
Mr. DONG Ke serves as Deputy Chief Planner at the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD). He also holds the position of Director General of the Green City Research Institute. With a Ph.D. in Engineering from Tsinghua University, he is an esteemed Professorate Senior Urban Planner.

Throughout his career, Mr. DONG has dedicated his research efforts to green city planning, master planning, and territorial spatial planning. He has overseen the urban master planning of various locations, including the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, Suzhou, Dalian, Changzhou, and Wuxi. He has led multiple major projects such as Mapping Standards for Urban and Rural Planning, Study on the Reform and Innovation of Master Plan Preparation, Assessment of Approval Methods for Detailed Plan Preparation, Guidelines for Eco-City Master Plans, and Study on Urban and Rural Planning Inspection. His contributions extend beyond specific projects as he participated in the preparation and document drafting of the 2015 Central Urban Work Conference as a core group member. He was also involved in the preparation of important documents such as the Opinions on Promoting Green Urban and Rural Development, and the Special Action Plan for Carbon Peaking in Urban and Rural Development. Additionally, Mr. DONG contributed to the preparation of the National Outline of Territorial Spatial Planning, the development of main functional area system, guidelines for the preparation of municipal territorial spatial planning, the two-in-one assessment (resources and environment carrying capacity and land suitability assessment) methodology, and the pricing mechanism for natural resource assets.
