JIN Dongxiao
Mr. JIN Dongxiao serves as Deputy Chief Planner at the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD), with the title of Professorate Senior Urban Planner. He also holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Rural Planning and Development Academic Committee at the Urban Planning Society of China(UPSC). Additionally, he is also a member of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Natural Resource and Territorial Spatial Planning.

He has presided over and participated in more than 60 major planning and design projects, such as the Study on the Coordinated Development of Pearl River Delta City Cluster (General Report), Harbin Strategy for Urban Spatial Development, Wenzhou City Master Plan, Guizhou Province Territorial Spacial Planning, as well as over 20 scientific research tasks, such as Urbanization of Chinese Characteristics: Paths, Models and Policies (by Office of the Central Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs), National Rural and Urban Planning, Construction and Management (key consulting project by the Chinese Academy of Engineering), Methods for Preparation of Urban Planning, The 13th Five-Year Plan for the Improvement of Rural Living Environment, and Code for Classification of Urban Land Use and Planning Standards of Development Land (by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development). He has taken a keen interest in biodiversity conservation in recent years. In May 2020, Biodiversity Conservation: Logical Basis of Territorial Spatial Planning in the Context of Ecological Civilization by him was selected as one of the contributions to Theoretical Explorations on Territorial Spatial Planning (June 2021) published by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
