Mr. ZHU Bo serves as Deputy Chief Planner at the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design(CAUPD). He is also the Chief Planner of CAUPD Beijing Planning and Design Consultants Ltd and the General Manager at its Northwest Branch.
Additionally, he holds the position of Deputy Secretary General of the General Planning Committee and Member of the Mountain Planning Committee at the Urban Planning Society of China(UPSC). With long-standing experience in urban planning research and design, he has led and participated in various projects, including the planning of city clusters in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the Pearl River Delta, as well as the planning of provincial urban systems in Xizang(Tibet), Guizhou, and Gansu. Furthermore, he has contributed to the strategic planning and master planning of multiple cities, such as Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Tangshan, Baoding, Kaifeng, Fushun, and Quanzhou. His expertise also extends to the planning and design of national new districts such as Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing, Tianfu New Area in Chengdu, and Caofeidian New Area in Tangshan. Mr. ZHU has been involved in the planning and design of the post-disaster reconstruction of the 5.12 Wenchuan(Sichuan) Earthquake and dozens of major urban design projects. His contributions have been recognized with multiple national, ministerial, and provincial awards for excellent planning and design. Over the past five years, he has taken charge of and participated in various provincial and municipal-level territorial spatial master plans and planning initiatives under multiple plan coordination.
